Baldi Family Readiness Goals
FAMILY PARTNERSHIP. School and families work in collaboration to support students. We share in equal parts the responsibility to communicate, collaborate, and directly support student learning.
Goal 1: 100% of families will be connected to Baldi on ClassDojo.
ClassDojo – Learn more about ClassDojo. Visit the parent help desk to explore features, maximize your account, and learn about the ClassDojo app. Most likely if you are reading this you are already connected. Thank you! ClassDojo will translate all classroom announcements and messages into their preferred language, with just one tap. Every family deserves the best opportunity to stay involved with their child’s education.

Goal 2: 100% of students will have a Chromebook, laptop, or desktop computer.
Chromebooks & WiFi – This is the SDP website that includes information about Chromebook pick-up and repair centers, information about free and low-cost high-speed internet, as well as steppers and guides for accessing your child’s account (scroll down to “Resource Center for Remote Learning”). Please note, we strongly recommend that you use a Chromebook or other desktop computer. Each child in your household will need their own Chromebook or computer. iPads, tablets and smartphone devices will not allow your student to access the full remote learning experience
Goal 3: 100% of students will be connected to reliable high-speed internet.

Goal 4: 100% of Baldi families will have Parent Portal accounts.
Parent Portal – Please make sure you have a Parent Portal account. This is where you will be able to view your child’s grades, attendance, immunization records, and more.

Goal 5: 100% of students will be able to access their Student Portal account.
Student Portal -Students will access their Google Classroom account, the digital curriculum for Reading and Math, email, and more! They must log in with their Student ID number and password. Students will have the same password as last year. Your child’s School District of Philadelphia email address is their 8 digit student ID firstname.lastname@example.org (for example email@example.com) (for example firstname.lastname@example.org).
